What does it mean, what are we to gain from this technology we think we cannot live without

Looked at as letters, numbers emoticons. Show no emotion it's all surreal

Cross words written, typed, left for all to see

Forgetting there is a living breathing human being on the other side 

Like the one typing these words tonight

In reality they couldn't hold a candle to you

A barage of insults thrown that do not bruise the skin but leave the psyche black and blue

What do you care, I am nothing to you

No need to lead to us astray
